First up, his latest movie, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, had it's world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last week, and reviews so far have been overwhelmingly positive. That's really good to see.
Secondly, the movie posters have been unveiled. There's two movies posters: one for us Canadians, and one for the Americans.

Now, apparently, that was considered a little too risque for those tender Yankee virtues. So this is the poster that the Americans get:
It's still slated to come out on Halloween, and as I'm working that night, you just know I'm going to see it on November 1.
Next up, my DVD collection is getting a little bit bigger. Kevin Smith's latest concert DVD, Sold Out: A Threevening with Kevin Smith just got the release date of October 21. This spoken word performance was filmed in Kevin Smith's hometown of Red Bank, New Jersey on his 37th birthday. I have his first two, and they are as funny as hell. Watch them if you can!
And, let's not forget, Kevin Smith bring his spoken word show back to Edmonton on September 28! Let me check my wallet to make sure I still have my ticket...yup, I do!
